A New Chapter in Public Art

Monument is a new initiative reshaping how large-scale sculpture is experienced in public spaces.
After launching our international presence in 2024 with a landmark exhibition in Venice — featuring leading Australian artists at the Giardini della Marinaressa and Fondamenta dei Sette Martiri — we have established a powerful platform for cultural exchange and ambitious public art on the world stage.

Now, as we plan our return to Venice in 2026 and look ahead to our next major exhibition proposed for Sydney in 2027, we’re inviting you to help bring this vision to life.
With your support, Monument will present over 100 large-scale sculptures by both Australian and international artists in a spectacular harbour side setting — free and accessible to all.

Unlike long-established institutions, Monument operates independently and without ongoing government funding. We rely on the generosity of supporters like you to make these events possible — from transporting large scale works and installing them safely and sustainably in public spaces, to supporting artist participation and curatorial excellence.

Your one-time contribution directly supports our mission to create inclusive, world-class sculpture exhibitions in extraordinary public settings. Every donation helps us elevate artists, inspire audiences, and activate public space with creativity and meaning.

Become a Founding Supporter of Monument. By giving monthly, you’ll help us build a sustainable future — one that supports emerging talent, keeps our exhibitions free, and enables long-term planning for projects in Australia and abroad. You’ll also help us foster community engagement, arts education, and global cultural dialogue through public sculpture.

We’re just at the beginning of our journey — and with your help, Monument will continue to grow into a leading force in the global public art landscape.
Together, we can shape something monumental.
